The new PSENscan safety laser scanner from Pilz can now optionally replace the standard S300 Sick laser scanner on all omnidirectional MPO robots.
The safety laser scanner PSENscan offers two-dimensional area monitoring with an opening angle of 275 degrees and a protected field range of up to 5.5 metres. Its extremely fine angular resolution results in very good environmental maps.
The PSENscan comes with full ROS support from Pilz and the ROS package is already available on GitHub.
