This part of the software is the central element of the PlatformPilot system. On the on-board computer of an autonomous mobile robot, a separate instance of the core module runs in every single unit and takes care of all the basic tasks.

PlatformPilot-Core has direct access to the sensors, drives and other actuators. The modular architecture makes it easy to integrate additional hardware.
