ROS 2 Start - AMR

Have you selected a standard mobile robot from our catalog? This package is designed specifically for you.

Selecting this premium option provides you with a complete installation of ROS 2 and all relevant packages, pre-installed on your mobile robot. This option allows you to begin using Neobotix mobile robots with the standard hardware configuration that you have selected right out of the box, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.

(Note: If you have selected a UR arm as an additional option, please ensure you check the ROS 2 UR Starter package to cover your complete mobile manipulator.)

The features of starters pack include:

  • OS & ROS 2 Distro: Installation of Ubuntu and a ROS 2 distribution of your choice (We support Jazzy and Kilted).
  • Workspace Setup: Setup and testing of the ROS 2 workspace for the robot, including all necessary open-source ROS 2 packages and dependencies.
  • Optimization: Fine-tuning and testing of the ROS parameters and arguments of unmodified platforms.
  • Remote Access: Provision of pre-configured VNC settings for remote desktop access from an external computer.
  • Automation: Setup of Autostart scripts to immediately initiate robot operation upon boot.
  • Quality Assurance: A two-day continuous cycle testing period for your Neobotix robot, conducted under the supervision of a Neobotix ROS expert to validate the aforementioned configuration.
  • Optional Training: Basic one-hour training session to facilitate the initial use of Neobotix robots, covering - Driver bringup, Introduction to Nav2 (explained at the user interface level), Introduction to Simulation.
