We are looking for a software developer with specialisation in C++ / ROS.

Some of your tasks will be:

  • Work alongside other software developers to deliver reliable, well tested software for our mobile robots and robot simulation.
  • Evaluate software components from hardware suppliers.
  • Design and implement ROS packages, ranging from hardware control to path planning.
  • Write and maintain documentation and keep our repositories up to date.
  • Keep in touch with the ROS community.

We are looking for:

  • Graduate degree in software engineering or a related field, with applicable background
  • Strong software development skills (C, C++, Python)
  • Good knowledge of ROS
  • Proficiency with Linux
  • Hands-on experience with autonomous systems
  • Fluent language skills in both German and English

Software developer in robotics

Full time employment in Calau ID 19-2

We are looking for a software developer to enlarge our team.

Some of your tasks will be:

  • Implementing new features, from idea all the way to tests and optimisation
  • Improvement of existing software modules, ranging from localisation to dynamic path planning and integrating new sensors
  • In the long run you will be in charge of full projects

We are looking for:

  • A graduate in computer science
  • Knowledge in object-oriented programming in C++
  • Ability to work in a team on complex mechatronic systems
  • Fluent language skills in German and English

Work on our ROS packages

Internship ID ROS (Open from 1 June 2020)

Our mobile robots can also be run by the Robot Operating System. We want to keep up to date by maintaining our ROS packages und integrating new features.

Therefore we are continuously looking for someone who

  • gets to know our robots and current ROS packages in detail,
  • creates and updates models of our robots for Gazebo simulations,
  • tests and evaluates new modules in our prototypes and
  • creates all new ROS packages to add new features.

We are looking for:

  • Programming knowledge in C++ and Python
  • An interest in engaging in the ROS community
  • Sufficient English language skills to document your work
