Software developer - ROS

We are looking for a software developer with specialisation in ROS.

Some of your tasks will be:

  • Evaluate new ROS packages and decide which components should be replaced or updated.
  • Develop and test new ROS packages and simulation modules, both for our mobile robots and individual components and sensors.
  • Prepare robots for delivery and also train and support customers.
  • Keep in touch with the ROS community and maintain our repositories.

We are looking for:

  • A graduate in computer science, robotics, mechatronics or a similar field.
  • First-hand experience in robotics and ROS.
  • Knowledge in object-oriented programming in C++ and Python.
  • The mindset to work on complex software projects and keep both code and documentation clean and up to date.
  • Sound language skills in German and English.

Software developer in robotics

We are looking for a software developer to enlarge our team.

Some of your tasks will be:

  • Implementing new features, from idea all the way to tests and optimisation
  • Improvement of existing software modules, both graphical user interfaces and robot control software
  • Work on new customer projects

We are looking for:

  • A graduate in computer science or a successful student searching for a master thesis
  • Knowledge in object-oriented programming in C/C++ and Java
  • Ability to work in a team on complex mechatronic systems
  • Sound language skills in German and English

Work on our ROS packages

Internship ID ROS

Our mobile robots can also be run by the Robot Operating System. We want to keep up to date by maintaining our ROS packages und integrating new features.

Therefore we are continuously looking for someone who

  • gets to know our robots and current ROS packages in detail,
  • creates and updates models of our robots for Gazebo simulations,
  • tests and evaluates new modules in our prototypes and
  • creates all new ROS packages to add new features.

We are looking for:

  • Programming knowledge in C++ and Python
  • An interest in engaging in the ROS community
  • Sufficient English language skills to document your work
